As a Junior Fullstack Software Engineer, you have the opportunity to work on all of our software stack and learn about state-of-the-art backend and web development. Technologies that you will work on are Quarkus, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Vue.js, Docker, Amazon Web Services, MySQL, and interfacing them with different programming languages like Java, Javascript/TypeScript, Python, and Kotlin.
You will focus on creating highly scalable, easy-to-deal with services and web front-ends that will be used by all teams across the company.
Your responsibilities
- Work in a cross functional team and build out our existing product offering
- Build and maintain high-performance, scalable and reliable software components
- Work closely with other passionate software engineers to develop and ship new features and overall Beekeeper architecture and infrastructure
What we look for in you
- 1+ years experience in software coding and development, specifically in web technologies and back-end development
- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience with Java and JavaScript/TypeScript or similar languages
- You care about code quality and continuous refactoring
- Proficiency in English (speaking and writing) as English is our company language
- Eligibility to work in Poland. This is a full time inhouse position (employment contract)
