THE POSITION

LendingTree is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Director of IT Operations to enhance our leadership team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in steering the development and implementation of our IT Operations strategy, with a steadfast commitment to operational excellence and delivering outstanding customer service. We are looking for a candidate that can spearhead the IT Operations roadmap, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business objectives. Cultivate and guide a dedicated team of IT professionals, drawing upon your extensive knowledge in IT operations, process optimization, and change management. Champion strategic thinking and innovation, fostering an environment that embraces change and rapid evolution.

For this role we are looking for experience running the following teams.

  • Compliance (PCI/SOX compliance
  • Information Security
  • Help Desk/Desktop analyst
  • Networking
  • Production support

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute IT operational strategies that support LendingTree’s mission and business objectives.
  • Team Oversight: Provide leadership and direction for the Compliance, Information Security, Desktop Analyst, platform engineering, and Networking teams.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to PCI/SOX compliance standards and manage audits and assessments related to IT controls.
  • Information Security: Coordinates with the security team on the development and implementation of comprehensive information security programs to protect company assets and data.
  • Desktop Analyst: Direct the Desktop Analyst team to provide exceptional support and service to internal stakeholders, ensuring high availability and performance of desktop environments.
  • Networking: Lead the Networking team to maintain and enhance the company’s network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure they meet LendingTree’s standards and service level agreements.
  • Budgeting: Develop and manage the IT Operations budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Policy Development: Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures that support operational efficiency and data security

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge in compliance regulations, information security, help desk operations, and networking.
  • Strategic Planning: Experience in strategic planning and execution within an IT operations context.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in managing complex IT projects and initiatives.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT operations, with significant leadership experience in a similar role.

The base pay range for this position in Colorado/Seattle is $165,000-240,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
