Roles & Responsibilities
Position: Site Engineer
Reporting to: Site Manager Department: Construction
Job Purpose:
To be part of the site management team and perform a technical, organisational and supervisory role consistently following company procedures, good practice and statutory legislation.

- To obtain and familiarise yourself and work to all tolerances / engineers’ specification to be able to complete the
- Setting out, levelling and positioning of all structures / materials within the Severfield scope – Ensuring they are all within set
- Surveying of all structures and materials within Severfield project
- Production of as-built drawings and survey information as per the contract
- Liaise with the main contractors site engineer ensuring set out position and surveys are compliant.
- Liaise closely with the site supervisor’s and foremen when raising NCR’s following company
- Assist site management with monitoring the site direct labour workforce and the work of subcontractors ensuring compliance with company and project safety and work policies /
- Counselling and mentoring of junior and trainee engineers’.
- Keep records as required to protect the company’s
- Ensure all time spent working on variations and NCR’s are recorded and site manager
- Set an example to
- Assist site management where necessary and any other
- Oversee quality control on site – ensure compliance with quality plans and inspection and test
- Problem solving and solving of any technical difficulties that may arise on
- Liaising with the site management team and contracts team and preparing / submitting reports as
