We started our journey 4 years ago in the Netherlands and with our mission to make business insurance fast, simple and fair we have been able to have a significant impact on that market. Since last year we also serve customers in France and Germany, and are rapidly expanding across the rest of Europe!

What you will do be doing:

You will be at the heart of our Company, making sure all Finance processes are running smoothly. This involves analyzing financial data to provide insights that support business growth and profitability. You will collaborate closely with senior management to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with our strategic objectives. Moreover, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial systems and processes, leveraging your expertise to implement best practices and optimize efficiency. This multifaceted role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our company's financial health and long-term success.

A Day in the Life of:

  • Prepare the monthly financial reporting to management and external stakeholders
  • Own the accounting of all group companies
  • File the quarterly VAT returns
  • Manage weekly payment runs and cash flows
  • Collaborate with the debt collection team
  • Run the monthly payroll process
  • Develop and own the procurement process
  • Support the team during fundraise 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of work experience in accounting, preferably in financial services
  • Strong analytical skills, a structured approach to your work and attention to detail while delivering high quality in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced knowledge of general accounting and financial control principles
  • Your English is spot on, Dutch would be considered a plus
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
