Our Systems Department plays a key role in keeping us running like a well-oiled machine. They provide IT support to our 2000+ employees - identifying, researching, and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced and always changing environment.

We are looking for a confident, outgoing and proactive individual to join our support team responsible for delivering end user focused IT support to staff in Chicago and Austin.
Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Desktop Support Technician at R/GA:

 

On any given day you might

  • Collaborate with global techs and Systems leadership to implement the global IT strategy
  • Day to day management of local IT operations including support, purchasing and vendor management
  • Troubleshooting user issues and providing IT support to a growing user base
  • Hardware imaging of both Macintosh and Windows machines
  • Software deployment and troubleshooting
  • New hire on-boarding
  • Installation and maintenance of local AV systems
  • When required, providing remote hands working with Infrastructure team for server, network and managed services support

The Ideal Person

  • Background in end-user support
  • 3-5 years experience supporting Macintosh AND Windows operating systems
  • Experience of JAMF (Casper), and LANDesk management tools
  • Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers
  • Experience with administering user accounts and computers in Active Directory
  • Experience supporting video conferencing applications such as Zoom, Skype for Business & Google Hangouts
