Your role
As our Senior Marketing Manager Netherlands, you are the mastermind behind the consumer-facing content in the Netherlands.
You are in charge of creating a marketing plan and strategy for our products. You work very closely with our product manager and marketing channel specialists. You are responsible for creating and executing the marketing plan. You test, iterate, and deploy different communication angles as well as new channels.
You are responsible for the deployment of consumer-facing content. You can proofread content and sometimes create the content yourself. From an interesting blog article and beating competitors at SEO, to an informative e-book or a catchy social post, you are a seasoned marketing leader who can do it all! You also ensure that our communication across a multitude of channels forms a compelling and coherent narrative that promotes our brand story.
As our Senior Marketing Manager Netherlands, you are responsible for the creation of content that is relevant and engaging for our customers - freelancers and small entrepreneurs. This varies from content about insurance, to how to set up your own business, calculate your hourly rate, and interviews with fellow entrepreneurs. It's up to you to make Insify the (insurance) brand for entrepreneurs!
A day in the life of Insify's Senior Marketing Manager
Own Insify's marketing strategy and execution in the Netherlands!
- Become an expert on our insurance product and translate their benefits to our customers
- Conduct user research to create compelling marketing campaigns and identify pain points
- Act as an antenna to pick up on trends, themes, and external developments that capture the attention of our target audience
- Be hands-on and able to generate content yourself, as well as be able to brief, delegate, and correct content you’ll delegate
- Conceptualize and drive our CRM communication strategy from lifecycle to retention flows
- Drive coordination and creation of all content on the Insify platform in the Netherlands and other channels (landing pages, blog articles, e-books, newsletters etc.)
- Proofread and provide feedback on content written by freelancers
- Optimize our SEO, SEA, and social copy in collaboration with our growth marketers
- Define and execute social media strategy in the Dutch market
- Support the launch of new channels (e.g., direct mail, lead generation, native,...)
Your profile
- You have 6+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in insurance or fintech (or other regulated) industries
- You are native Dutch-speaking
- You know best how to create a marketing plan and how to execute it
- You can think creatively in new and unconventional ways
- You have strong communication and storytelling skills (a passion to tell stories that change the way people think about insurance)
- You know how to manage external parties, but you are great at creating content yourself too
- You display ruthless prioritization with a focus on impact: you do not get distracted by incoming opportunities and can focus on those that drive the most value
- You are highly organized to make progress on all fronts
