Alarm.com, a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial technology company, is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our talented international team working from a major city in Europe or Turkiye. The main two areas of focus of a TAM are:

  • Driving the Technical Onboarding process to make sure that new partners have all the training and tools to succeed from the start.
  • Managing a subset of Alarm.com’s key international partners to ensure they efficiently utilize the full suite of Alarm.com services and tools. This includes everything from backend integrations to customer support tools to end-user features.

 We’re searching for candidates with a passion for technology, a consultative and entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to drive and manage relationships internally across departments and externally with our partners. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities for this role include:

  • Be the first point of contact and success manager for the main Alarm.com partner in Turkiye.
  • Provide valuable ongoing product support and training to partners via webinar and on-site
  • Champion and advocate for partner requirements by gathering feedback from the field on how we can improve our product and processes.
  • Represent Alarm.com at various trade shows and events.
  • Demonstrate in-depth and current understanding of all existing and new Alarm.com product release features to respond to partner inquiries properly.
  • Support the expansion of Alarm.com in Europe and the Middle East.
  • Creating training materials like presentations, technical guides, and videos to facilitate the ongoing training process for partners.
  • Conducting local and remote tests for new features in close cooperation with Product Managers and Quality Engineers.
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • BA or BS, Engineering, Math, or sciences preferred
  • Fluent in Turkish
  • The ability to communicate in English with vendors and internal teams, both in writing and verbally, in a clear, professional manner.
  • Other languages are a plus.
  • A self-starter who can operate independently.
  • Proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of consumer, cloud, and IoT technology.
  • Strong people skills; natural customer service orientation and disposition. Candidate must enjoy working with clients and supporting internal customers in the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • The ability and commitment to meet deadlines, even during high-volume periods.
  • Flexible and positive attitude that fosters team spirit
  • Availability to travel up to 50% within Europe, Turkiye, and the Middle East.
  • Experience with the following is a plus: Electronic security, access control, home automation, or video over IP.
