As our Software Tester you will take part and refine test plans to ensure increasingly thorough test coverage as well as execute the refined plans. You will also provide the team with the latest testing status of features in development and will be collaborating closely with the extended team to deliver world-class online features and services.
What you'll be doing:
- Create and refine test cases for a wide range of online services. (i.e. functional, integration, regression, negative, etc.)
- Verify functionality of existing and new features on the platform.
- Identifying, investigating and documenting defects found during testing.
- Partnering and collaborating with all departments throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Contributing to the full release of multiple types of features across a myriad of platform combinations.
- Mobile/PC/APK testing
What you'll need to be successful:
Must haves:
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Tester
- Experience with bug management, tracking and reporting programs (i.e. Jira, TestRail).
- Familiar with the software development cycles and version control.
- Experience with test case creation and test plan organization.
- Clear and effective communication skills (verbal & written).
- Self-driven ability to work independently.
- Team player that enjoys collaborating.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and an ability to think out-of-the-box.
- Strong resource and time management skills.
- Well organized and have an eye for detail.
Nice to have:
- Shipped multiple features, games, web pages, web features, and/or services.
- Comfortable in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Postman testing experience.
- Any experience working with microservices.
- Experience or interest in creating documentation on testing features (i.e. How to guide)
