As part of our Sportsbook tech team – a high performance, throughout and availability product serving many brands (20+), you will be key in ensuring that the team delivers the required business value.

The FE Tech Lead's responsibility will be focused on both the Sportsbook customer facing sites and any internal Sportsbook tools.

Our main product is a sports betting web application; a large, single page application built using Angular and ngRx as its main front-end technologies. Working on this product is a great opportunity to experience front-end development on a large scale with up-to-date technologies and a strong end-user focus.

A taster of what you will be doing:
- As a Tech Lead you will be part of the EUJO Value stream, working towards taking our FE to the next level and more B2B ready.
- Work closely with architects within the area to ensure that the direction set by the architects is being communicated, aligned & implemented within the teams.
- You will also be aligning with the other tech leads across the product development department in order to ensure the technical consistency, take ownership of and drive technical excellence initiatives within Sportsbook.
- Lead the Prometheus guild and enable the teams to work on the Tech initiatives.
- Identify technical improvements in the applications you are responsible for.
- Validate technical improvements and help Product Managers prioritise such improvements
- Be able to explain the benefits of technical improvements to both technical and non-technical audience.
- You will also participate in development, testing, code reviews, bug fixing, implementing new features as well as maintaining and improving the existing functionality.
- Help build our world class team, thus participating in technical interviews as well as coaching & mentoring engineers.
- Stay up to date with technology, understand the benefits and use cases of a variety of technologies and be strategic in their implementation.
What we are looking for:
- You are a team player who readily offers help and shares knowledge with your colleagues.
- You are someone that is Pro-active and love to not only suggest improvements, but also drive them.
- 5 years' experience in development.
- Deep understanding of coding best practices.
- Deep understanding of the latest JavaScript frameworks and mostly Angular.
- Understanding of caching, CDN and infrastructure in relation to how
