What you’ll be responsible for:
Circle is growing its research practice and looking for a  Senior Program Manager, Research (RPM) to strengthen the impact of our research teams. In this role, you will define, establish, and maintain operational and team-wide programs as well as create, manage, and scale research recruiting processes to support the growing team. This role requires project, program and recruiting management experience and broad knowledge of research's impact on product design and development.

What you'll work on:

  • Defining and managing initiatives that improve team efficiency and impact, establishing operational systems and outcomes
  • Building our user research culture
  • Identifying and partner with stakeholders on internal processes, templates, and guidelines to improve research team optimization and documentation
  • Supporting research planning by collaborating with researchers and cross functional teams
  • Providing approaches that meet team needs in recruiting target audience
  • Working with other cross functional teams to establish and maintain participant database and pools for research 
  • Establishing recruiting best practices and frameworks that guide reaching out to the right audience
  • Acting as a thought leader in the domain of research ops management
  • Contributing to a growing UX org, helping install best practices and processes as we scale, and filling out our product squads’ research toolbox with methodologies.

What you’ll bring to Circle:

  • 7+ years of research and participant management experience in an applied research setting, or similar
  • Executing operational programs and leading them end-to-end while scaling for growth
  • Building relationships with peers and senior stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations
  • Owning, building, maintaining and executing participant recruiting
  • Communication skills for interacting with and influencing researchers, cross functional stakeholders, senior management, and external partners with the experience adapting communication style to suit different audiences
  • Collaborate extensively with researchers and cross-functional stakeholders to drive business impact
  • Ability to handle complex information and adapt to a changing environment
  • Research mentorship and guidance for fellow researchers, designers, and product management peers
  • Own metrics and reporting for scheduling cycle times and candidate experience
  • Experience working with finance, procurement and external vendors
  • Experience working in vendor management
  • Bachelors, masters or related experience

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

Base Pay Range: $122,500 - $162,500

Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%

Also Included: Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy. We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
