The Role: 

CommerceIQ is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our Talent Acquisition team as an HR Specialist. We’re looking for an individual with a passion for talent acquisition and creating exceptional candidate experiences, and the drive to contribute to the growth and success of our People, Culture and recruitment programs.

We are seeking a multifaceted HR Specialist to join CommerceIQ to play a dual role that combines operational excellence with strategic HR management. This individual will be pivotal in orchestrating the recruitment process, from scheduling interviews to conducting reference checks, and ensuring candidates have an exceptional experience. Beyond these responsibilities, the role demands a keen attention to detail and organizational prowess in managing HR systems, including the administration of HRIS reports, benefits, and new hire onboarding. Furthermore, the HR Specialist will contribute to the development and execution of special projects and programs, showcasing versatility and a comprehensive understanding of HR functions. This position is perfect for someone passionate about leveraging their expertise in both the operational and strategic realms of human resources to drive exceptional talent acquisition and management at CommerceIQ.

 What You'll Do: 

  • Schedule phone screens, interview loops, and reference checks at a high volume and at all levels of the business, communicating logistics to both candidates and hiring teams
  • Utilize Greenhouse, Google Calendar, and Zoom to schedule interview activities
  • Ensure data integrity and maintain candidate records in the applicant tracking system
  • Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience, scheduling efficiency, and minimizing reschedules
  • Manage the Greenhouse applicant tracking system, including system configuration, customization, and optimization to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Greenhouse users, providing training, troubleshooting support, and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment reports and analytics dashboards to track key metrics, analyze recruitment trends, and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Support onboarding and new hire processes in partnership with HR, IT, and Accounting such as running HRIS reports, new hire benefits and enrollment. 
  • Follow up on new hire enrollment and address change reports to ensure all benefits tasks are completed timely and accurately.
  • Run HRIS reports and facilitate updates to key stakeholders, including auditing and updating key missing data and integrating files with HiBob, our HRIS system.
  • Develop SOPs and policies, specifically around benefits FAQs and other ad-hoc items, to streamline operations and provide clear guidelines.
  • Coordinate gifts for employees and new hire swag, enhancing the onboarding experience and fostering a welcoming company culture.

What You'll Bring: 

  • 1-2 years of recruiting scheduling experience in a high-volume environment
  • Seeking an individual with 1-2 years of experience in recruitment operations or HR, experience with Greenhouse, Paylocity, HiBob strongly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and tech-savvy approach to all tasks, leveraging strong tech skills to automate and create efficiencies, ensuring high accuracy and streamlined process management.
  • Experience scheduling complex interview loops, consisting of multiple interviewers and timezones
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and manage relationships with hiring teams and candidates
  • Demonstrated proficiency in configuring and customizing applicant tracking systems to support complex recruitment workflows and business requirements.
  • Basic understanding of employment practices, policies and laws as they relate to talent acquisition
  • Ability to work autonomously and is a strong self-starter who proactively seeks out areas of improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Google Suite tools, specifically Gmail and Google Calendar
