DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

ABOUT CONVALESCENT AID SOCIETY

Convalescent Aid Society (CAS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents of the San Gabriel and San Fernando valleys facing mobility challenges. By offering free loaned medical equipment and assistive mobility devices such as hospital beds, walkers, and wheelchairs, CAS promotes independence and safety among its clients.  Supported solely by tax-deductible monetary donations from clients, community members, and area foundations, CAS operates independently of government funding, ensuring flexibility in its operations while effectively serving the community's needs.

CAS's impact extends beyond individual assistance, encompassing environmental sustainability through its recycling and refurbishing program for donated medical equipment. By repairing and sanitizing gently used items, CAS not only reduces waste but also ensures that essential resources are accessible to those who may not afford them otherwise. Through its commitment to providing free access to medical equipment and promoting environmental stewardship, CAS embodies a holistic approach to addressing healthcare needs in both the San Gabriel and San Fernando valleys, fostering inclusivity and improving the quality of life for all residents.
