Head of Claims

We are currently offering Pet, Fire, Critical Illness and Home Insurance and expected to provide wider coverage to the general public in the coming year.

What you will be doing:

• Manage a team of claim staffs, to assess and approve new claim/complaint case/complicated case within authority and manage customer expectation by offering flexible solution.
• Provide regular training and support to enhance professional knowledge and standard of the team.
• Work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional departments and external parties to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with company strategy.
• Ensure effective and efficient operation procedure and services are delivered in accordance with Company's standard.
• Provide recommendation and engage in projects to enhance internal workflows.
• Coordinate and assist in UAT activities such as preparation of test plan, test cases, pre-UAT quality check, monitoring of bug fixing, retest progress, UAT reports and post implementation monitoring.
• Provide managerial advice and feedback to streamline procedures and workflow.

What we are looking for:

• 10+ years of experience in GI claim processing including 5+ years in managerial positions
• Customer-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of responsibility with high level of integrity and trust
• Good communicate and time management skills
• Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel), Chinese word processing is necessary.
• Excellent command of spoken and written in English and Chinese
• Strong team player, willing to learn, able to work independently and under pressure
• Highly organized self-starter, capable to lead multiple projects to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
