Major Responsibilities
• Partner with the firm’s investment and risk teams to translate their requirements into technology solutions: building tools, models, analytical libraries, and processes to facilitate their research, idea generation, trading, and portfolio analysis.
• Collaborate with the broader technology team to develop a unified, scalable platform for harnessing real-time and historical market data and analytics.
• Work as a full-stack technologist, build front-to-back solutions that leverage the firm’s data platforms, microservices architecture, UI frameworks, and DevOps toolchain.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience developing Front Office and/or Risk tools and analytics
• Proficiency in one or more statically-typed programming language (e.g. C#, C++, Java, etc.) as well as one or more dynamically-typed language (e.g. Python, R, etc.)
• Experience leveraging both traditional relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Postgres) as well as special-purpose database technologies (e.g. Redis, Snowflake, etc.)
• High-level understanding of asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives), analytical models, and financial markets
Optional, but preferred
• Familiarity with common data science tools and libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, etc.)
• Experience building analytical UIs and visualizations using Jupyter, DASH, PyXLL, or similar.
• Familiarity with real-time market data feeds (e.g. Bloomberg) and APIs
• Experience building tools/processes to support systematic trading strategies

Anticipated Salary Range
We anticipate the annual base salary for this role will be in the range of $165,000 - $225,000. In addition to a base salary, the successful candidate will also be eligible to receive a discretionary year-end bonus, as well as other benefits.
