Job Title: AVP, Illiquid Assets - Investments Office

Role Overview:

This individual will support all aspects of the illiquid asset investment process, including: evaluating potential investments, developing strategies to increase origination, overseeing portfolio construction, and executing transactions. The individual will work primarily with the investment team within GA as well as the broader global investment teams within KKR as we build out our combined integrated investment function. This is an opportunity to be an early team member of a new high-profile investment strategy at Global Atlantic focused on a wide range of asset classes that represents a range of risk/return and liquidity profiles, including asset-based finance, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and private equity. 


Responsibilities:

1. Assist in evaluating individual investment opportunities:

Support comprehensive financial analysis to assess potential investments.

Contribute to the preparation of GA & KKR investment memos outlining key findings and recommendations.

Collaborate with deal teams to facilitate investment decision-making processes.


2. Support long-term origination & non-USD strategy:

Assist in organizing presentations and roadshows to showcase GA’s business model and investment opportunities.

Support the buildout of GA’s non-USD investing strategy & execution.

 

3.  Aid in portfolio construction and monitoring:

Assist in managing the illiquid portfolio & incoming pipeline, ensuring alignment with investment objectives.

Develop KPIs and reports to help drive portfolio construction and investing decisions.

Monitor the inforce book to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Collaborate with GA leadership and KKR portfolio managers to review performance.

 

4.  Contribute to building relationships across KKR and externally to support GA growth:

Engage with key stakeholders across GA and KKR to cultivate dialogue and relationships.

Stay informed about market trends and developments to contribute to investment decisions.

Assist in leveraging existing networks to identify new opportunities and partnerships.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field;

3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, investment/asset management, or corporate development.Superior analytical skills and background in Excel and PowerPoint; strong grasp of financial & quantitative concepts and extensive experience in working with financial or numerical datasets. 

Exceptional written, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Ability to contribute to a collaborative and constructive work environment.

Demonstrated interest in investing and/or private assets.

Self-starter with ability to work independently to solve complex problems.

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office. 

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives.  Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives. 

The base salary range for this role is

$130,000—$198,000 USD

Global Atlantic reserves the right to modify the qualifications and requirements for this position to accommodate business needs and regulatory changes.  Future adjustments may include obtaining specific licenses or certifications to comply with operational needs and conform to applicable industry-specific regulatory requirements, state and federal laws.
