Givens Estates is looking for a full time Executive Chef to support our dining team at our three distinct dining venues. In this role you'll play a vital role in fostering a cohesive culinary team, help streamline processes, and ensure seamless coordination of culinary services throughout the department. Your commitment to excellence will drive our culinary team to new heights, creating memorable dining experiences for our residents while upholding food safety and sanitation standards.

What You'll Do:

Directly responsible for culinary operations at The Social Brew, Market & Craft, and Terrene
Hire, train, direct, and evaluate staff who work under your supervision
Monitor and control team member scheduling and developing the work plan to meet budget guidelines
Assist with planning and execution of catering events for Givens Estates
Ensure opening and closing of culinary operations
Plan menus, develops recipes, and directs production schedule and quantities
Responsible for overall department sanitation; ensures that the department meets all local and federal sanitation and food handling codes. Minimum of a Health Department Grade ‘A’ of 97% is expected
Oversee inventory as well as ordering and purchasing of food while closely monitoring food costs
Ensure safe operation of all kitchen equipment through training and monitoring
Work cooperatively and actively with maintenance department to ensure high standards of maintenance of food service areas
Support Assisted Living operations to ensure the highest quality of product is being delivered to residents
Participate in any coaching and development conversations with team members
Actively participate and accept personal responsibility to ensure the success of the Corporate Compliance Program
Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What you'll Need:

Minimum 3 to 5 years progressive experience in hospitality, multi-unit, medium volume food service
Culinary degree and/or certificate achievement preferred
Enthusiasm to work in high paced environments
Creative mindset with an in depth understanding of cost control
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, & POS systems)
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Compensation is $70,000 - $73,000 annually, based on experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package.
