Givens Estates seeks a dedicated Full-Time Dining Hospitality Manager to lead our dynamic dining team across our three distinct dining venues. As a pivotal member of our team, you will champion a collaborative environment, optimize operational efficiency, and maintain impeccable standards of food safety and sanitation. Your passion for excellence will elevate our dining experiences, leaving a lasting impression on our residents. What You'll Do:

  • Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop Front of House (FOH) team, fostering a cohesive and positive work environment
  • Streamline processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in dining services
  • Use a “hands on” approach to regularly review and evaluate the degree of resident acceptance of the dining venues and services, to recommend to leadership new operating and marketing suggestions
  • Partner with our Life Enrichment team for successful programming and stimulating a high level of resident engagement
  • Ensure seamless coordination of dining operations across all dining venues: Market & Craft, Terrene, and Social Brew
  • Drive a culture of excellence and customer service, creating memorable dining experiences for our residents
  • Resolve problems with dissatisfied residents/guests (some of which will require high levels of patience and diplomacy) to increase resident/guest satisfaction and promote a positive dining experience
  • Assist in the planning and execution of catering events for Givens Estates
  • Create exciting seasonal décor in all venues in collaboration with the Dining Team
  • Ensure opening and closing of Front of House operations
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards to ensure the health and well-being of our residents and staff

What you'll Need:

  • Previous experience in a management role within the food service industry, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting
  • Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service while adhering to department budget and quality standards
  • Excellent leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • Problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Outstanding communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service and creating positive dining experiences
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS systems)
