Job Description

The mission of the Centralized Services Technician role at Intelligent Technical Solutions is to ensure efficient and effective backup solutions, software coverage, smooth IT operations, and collaboration with other departments to align the clients’ IT infrastructure with their business goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deploy and configure backup solutions for all servers, workstations, and SaaS applications
  • Remediate server, workstation, and SaaS backup issues within 24 hours of detection
  • Audit backup configurations and status every month to ensure that all data is secure and can be recovered in case of any data loss
  • Microsoft and 3rd party patching auditing and remediation
  • Troubleshoot general IT issues
  • Audit software coverage reports every month to remediate issues
  • Minimize internal staff work interruptions
  • Liaise with vendors
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with other departments on projects
  • Ensure that the company’s IT infrastructure is aligned with its business goals and objectives

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in deploying and configuring backup solutions, remediating server, workstation, and SaaS backup issues, and auditing backup configurations and status.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify the root cause of IT issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with other departments, vendors, and clients.
  • Detail-oriented to ensure that all backup solutions are configured correctly, software coverage reports are accurate, and IT issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, SaaS applications, and backup solutions.
  • Adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Requirements

  • A home office set up that meets the following:
    • A working computer with minimum of 8gb RAM, i5 Windows10 or macOS Big Sur. 
    • Stable internet connection with at least 5mbps download and upload.
    • A quality headset with noise cancellation feature for meetings. 
    • A mobile phone that has the capacity to install the Microsoft Authentication app. 
    • HD webcam
    • 2nd Monitor 
    • UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplyif using a desktop (Not needed if using a laptop)
      Note:  If you don't have a UPS or a secondary monitor, the company is willing to cover the initial expenses for acquiring these items. The total cost will be deducted from your salary over a three-month period.
  • A very strong cultural fit the ITS way (Our core values will be discussed during the interview) 
  • Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written 
  • Able to work full time 40 hours a week - 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Pacific Standard Time (PST) from Monday to Friday.
  • Able to pass our online behavior and cognitive assessments. 
  • Able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants).

Compensation

Pay rate ranges from $4.59/hr - $11.26/hr and vary by experience and location.
