The Jonsson Workwear Technology Team is responsible for ensuring effective delivery of IT hardware, systems and networking across the organisation. They work closely alongside various teams to ensure service excellence and optimal usage of technology within the business.
The Infrastructure Lead forms part of the Jonsson Workwear Technology team, and will be responsible for the technical leadership, performance, integrity, security, compliance, and overall health of the IT infrastructure services ensuring optimal service levels are maintained at all sites across the organisation.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage all lifecycle aspects of infrastructure services: strategy, design, transition, operations, and continuous improvement.
- Design, implement, manage, and maintain toolsets for performance, capacity, security, and compliance management.
- Ensure all services meet business requirements and conform to internal standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and proactively address concerns related to infrastructure services integrity, performance, and security.
- Ensure optimal configuration and maintenance of infrastructure services.
- Perform root cause analysis and risk assessments to resolve major incidents and complex requests.
- Drive collaboration between stakeholders, support teams, and technology partners to resolve technical concerns.
- Train, support, manage, and guide infrastructure support teams to deliver effective support.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Lead and perform service upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of service configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Manage infrastructure services software licenses and ensure compliance.
- Identify opportunities to automate support tasks and processes.
- Develop technical roadmaps and lead implementation of initiatives following established change management processes.
The experience we’re looking for:
- Extensive hands-on experience providing IT infrastructure support and leadership in the Manufacturing or Finance sector.
- Suitable tertiary IT qualification.
- Microsoft MCSE certifications.
- Expert knowledge and experience working with the following technologies:
- Enterprise hypervisor (Vmware, HyperV or Nutanix AHV)
- Microsoft Windows Server
- Microsoft infrastructure services e.g. Active Directory, RDS, Exchange
- Microsoft Office 365 cloud platform
- Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Strong practical experience of supporting network deployments including WiFi, LAN, WAN, IPSEC.
- Strong experience supporting end-user computing environments for communities of 500+ users.
- IT service management frameworks e.g. COBIT, ITIL, is an advantage.
