Are you passionate about ensuring a seamless gaming experience? We are seeking a QA & Support specialist to join our team.

You will collaborate closely with the QA lead and other team members, contributing to the overall quality of our successful sandbox game Space Engineers which has sold more than 5 million copies around the world! Your responsibilities will include testing game content, features, and bug fixes, as well as writing comprehensive bug reports and test plans.

To ensure effective collaboration and seamless communication, we are looking for a person who resides in the Czech Republic or is able to relocate there in a few months.

How we imagine the ideal colleague

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, PC testing, application testing, or equivalent, ideally within the video game industry.
  • Residence in the Czech Republic (or being able to relocate)
  • Strong interest and passion for both PC and Console games.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectively.
  • Minimum secondary education
  • Capable of working independently and efficiently managing time and priorities.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Friendly, curious, and creative mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional player experiences.
  • Proactive attitude towards identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Don´t be a C-player:

Considered a plus

  • Familiarity with Space Engineers is a significant advantage.
  • University degree in a technical field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Test bug fixes, new features, updates, and new blocks thoroughly to uphold game quality standards and report any encountered bugs promptly.
  • Collaborate with development teams to verify the effectiveness of fixes, ensuring resolved issues meet quality expectations.
  • Conduct regression tests to validate that new updates do not adversely impact existing functionalities.
  • Perform testing on consoles, including PlayStation, Xbox, and Microsoft Store, ensuring cross-platform compatibility and providing dedicated console player support.
  • Engage in player support efforts by promptly responding to user inquiries on PC support forums, identifying issues, and accurately reporting bugs.
