Legend Biotech is seeking an Integrated Business Planning Lead as part of the Supply Chain Department team based in Raritan, NJ. 

Role Overview

We are actively seeking for an experienced Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Lead responsible for leading Legend’s monthly Demand & Supply Planning (LD&S) cycle and overall development of the IBP process, with a strong focus on driving Commercial/Supply/Manufacturing/Finance forecast alignment. 

This role is pivotal in aligning cross-functional teams to deliver an accurate outlook of business performance and help optimizing Supply Planning activities & operations through adherence on Demand-Capacity-Supply principles.  This role will partner with multiple Legend’s CARVYKTI Collaboration partner teams, such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Vein to Vein, Finance and Commercial Operations, as well as internal stakeholders across the Global Manufacturing & Supply network.

The ideal candidate has expertise developing and managing S&OP/IBP processes, with solid understanding of End-to-End Commercialization / Manufacturing activities – including product life cycle management. This newly created role will leverage your talents to think boldly about prioritized Global Manufacturing & Supply initiatives (current & future state) and build plans to enable it long term.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Your primary role will be to design, implement and deploy a global IBP standard and processes supporting CARVYKTI’s manufacturing ramp up activities.
  • Manage the IBP process and ensure alignment with Legend’s underlying Demand & Supply (LD&S) cycle and associated deliverables / timelines.
  • Identify areas of improvement across the shared (Collaboration partner) IBP Planning Calendar and develop recommendations to optimize the entire Planning cycle.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful IBP deployment.
  • Demonstrate impact and influence across the entire IBP process. Identify and recommend changes to improve the process efficiency.
  • Facilitates strategic decisions on issue resolution and gap closure.
  • Ensure smooth connectivity of IBP with tactical planning, short-term RCCP, and LRFP processes -take an active role in defining ideal planning cadence and process harmonization across all Planning meetings.
  • Drive scenario planning and risk modeling/management as part of the IBP process.
  • Ensure a good communication between each IBP step during the monthly cycle. Maintain the database (Teams, SharePoint) of IBP step presentations as well as any other tools used to support the IBP process.
  • Develop and maintain a playbook or procedure for running IBP. Provide training to any new IBP participants.
  • Ensure that leadership and step leaders are aware of ongoing threats, opportunities, resource issues, supply chain challenges and that key priorities are aligned.
  • Remove roadblocks that prevent the IBP process and team from progressing towards solutions.
  • Embrace and promote Agile principles and values within the team and projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and iterative development.
  • Create an environment that encourages open communication, teamwork, and innovation, contributing to a positive and collaborative work culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related Data Analytics field.
  • Minimum of +8 years in Manufacturing, Business Planning, Supply Chain, and/or commercial forecasting functions.
  • Minimum of +5 years developing and managing S&OP, CPFR and/or IBP methodologies.
  • Experience with leading business process reengineering and business process assessment.
  • Experience with business planning particularly around forecast processes and supporting technologies.
  • Experience in data analytics and cross-functional planning.
  • Experience in a global, regional, cross-sector/cross-industry environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of SAP D2D Planning, IBP, APO, OMP or similar tool.
