Senior Ruby Developer/Tech Lead
LHV Paytech is actively looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ruby Developer or Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. As a leader in FinTech and digital payments, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional user experiences for our customers.
This role presents a unique opportunity for an accomplished professional with a strong background in designing and overseeing Ruby on Rails applications. We seek tech-savvy individuals to join our talented team of developers who are focused on advancing our leading payment gateway solution. Depending on the candidate’s skill level, there is opportunity to join either as Senior Developer or as Tech Lead.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain software together with the product squad
- Participate in product roadmap planning and architecture design
- Ensure the completion of information systems and products.
- Develop and document architectural and design solutions and communicate them to the team.
- Manage and improve the CI/CD pipeline and procedures
- Keep up to date with industry trends and introduce new methodologies to the development team
Additional responsibilities for Tech Lead:
- Directly lead and manage one or more software development squads to meet agreed quality and architecture goals
- Improve software development processes, methods, best practices, and standards as part of Tech Leads Chapter
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development
- Experience with Ruby on Rails development
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and back end services.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate ideas effectively and provide constructive feedback
NICE TO HAVES:
- Previous experience with Hotwire and Turbo framework in latest Ruby on Rails versions
- Knowledge of build tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Interest in UX development and design
- Experience in managing a developers team
