As our Head of Marketing, you’ll build and scale a world-class marketing organization capable of positioning Lithic as the go-to platform for card issuing and processing. You’ll be responsible for orchestrating Lithic’s go-to-market strategy: segmentation, targeting, positioning, messaging, campaigns, and more. Your team is responsible for market intelligence, ensuring we’re targeting the right companies with the right story at the right time. You’ll also provide market feedback back to our product team to inform the roadmap. 

You’re an experienced marketing leader with expertise in product marketing strategies ready to take on a challenge who can translate technical capabilities into simple, compelling, differentiated messages. You’re collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, product, engineering, and design teams. You’re a strategic, hands-on self-starter who excels in fast-paced environments and is ready to take Lithic to the next level!

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee and execute company marketing initiatives contributing to Lithic’s growth goals, including demand generation, product marketing, sales enablement, account-based marketing, content, events, social media, and brand marketing
  • Own the conversation and credibly tell Lithic’s story. Understand the market trends and competitive landscape and develop competitive positioning
  • Align closely with product and other GTM teams to understand customer needs, create go-to-market strategies, and create communication and collateral that reflects the company brand and ROI for clients.
  • Drive best-in-class product marketing, including product launch management, white papers, presentations, and other customer-facing materials to build awareness, drive demand, and arm sales with tools and training.
  • Create a modern, high-velocity lead generation engine at Lithic. Partner with our sales team to drive pipeline and implement ways to improve engagement and adoption at every stage. 
  • Build, motivate, and develop the team; create and implement a long-term plan for marketing team structure and growth.
  • Lead the team in annual and quarterly planning, keeping track of the budget, and reporting on marketing initiatives’ performance, focusing on ROI and revenue growth.
  • Exercise a data-informed approach to gather customer/user insights and use data to improve future marketing campaigns and results

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally with expertise in Product Marketing
  • 5+ years of management experience in a high-growth environment (Series A to C)
  • Experience defining, building, executing, evaluating, and evolving the marketing function
  • Strong communication skills - the ability to prioritize and efficiently communicate marketing goals and results at a team, executive, and company level.
  • Experience with a complex software infrastructure or fintech company
  • Experience partnering closely with sales leadership and an understanding of the connection between demand generation and revenue growth.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches, initiatives/programs
  • A demonstrated history of being a team player who is eager to dive deep and roll up their sleeves as they build a small team

Base salary range for US candidates: $225,000-$275,000
