Position Overview
Senior Associate Interns work as part of an integrated team that executes and delivers across a variety of consulting projects. Strong candidates will possess project management and quantitative and qualitative skills. A typical Senior Associate Intern would:
- Contribute to the development of strategic direction for projects, and identify and design appropriate methodologies and frameworks to address key project objectives;
- Conduct primary and secondary research and analyses;
- Contribute to internal discussion that build insights from the analysis process;
- Take responsibility for developing sections of client presentations, reports, and other deliverables;
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of analyses and recommendations;
- Deepen your knowledge of consulting methodologies and the assigned practice and industry.
As most of our work is performed in the office, minimal travel is required.
Desired Qualifications
- We seek first-year MS students enrolled in an accredited degree program with a December 2024/Summer 2025 graduation date who have previously studied economics, engineering/sustainability or any other major focused on quantitative or qualitative research with an emphasis in Energy;
- 2+ years of work experience prior to enrolling in MS program;
- Experience with, or keen interest in, the energy sector;
- Previous client service experience, including managing relationships, facilitating meetings, and delivering presentations;
- Staff and project management experience, including budgeting and project planning/management
- Curious and analytical thinkers who bring creative approaches to non-standard problems;
- Effective written and oral communication skills;
- Demonstrated high level of initiative and leadership;
- Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities;
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills;
- Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting through coursework, work experience, activities, or attendance at CRA recruiting events.

Work Location Flexibility
