Position Overview
The AEA Summer Program Scholar internship introduces the professional services firm structure and project work at Charles River Associates, with a research-specific project assignment for the summer. During the 10-week program, AEA Scholars complete an economic research project that advances a practice area under the guidance of a senior leader and explore an interesting topic related to our business. Along the way, you’ll benefit from professional development and wellness support programs, social events to connect you with peers, and a collegial work environment.

Desired Skills
We seek motivated Sophomore students with expected graduation dates from December 2024 – August 2025. Strong candidates would possess:
- Interest in economic research, or demonstrated research experience through coursework or independent study;
- Curiosity and analytic thinking to bring creative approaches to non-standard problems;
- Effective written and oral communication skills;
- Demonstrated high level of initiative and leadership;
- Strong teamwork orientation and collaboration capabilities;
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills;
- Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting through coursework, work experience, activities, or attendance at CRA recruiting events.
