About the Role
As a Senior Creative Video Producer at Mindvalley, you will support the post-production phase, contributing your expertise to enhance video quality and overall storytelling. This position requires a seasoned video editing professional who can lead, mentor, and elevate the video editing team, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling and visually stunning content. Your experience and creativity will drive the production of high-quality videos that engage and inspire our global audience.
Responsibilities
Advanced Post-Production and Quality Assurance:
- Take ownership of advanced post-production tasks, including video/audio editing, color grading, and color correction, ensuring the highest quality and artistic standards are met.
- Oversee the quality control of all video deliverables, ensuring they meet or exceed industry standards, and communicate any issues related to video or audio quality effectively.
Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to junior and mid-level editors, nurturing their growth and skill development.
- Lead training initiatives to ensure the video editing team stays updated with the latest techniques, software, and industry trends.
- Play a strategic role in video content creation by offering insights and ideas that drive audience engagement and align with Mindvalley's goals.
Creative Direction and Innovation:
- Provide creative direction and innovative solutions during post-production, elevating the storytelling and visual impact of videos.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in post-production processes, optimizing efficiency and maintaining the highest level of quality.
- Stay updated on the latest video editing technologies, trends, and industry best practices, and implement them to ensure Mindvalley's videos remain innovative and engaging.
Project Management and Collaboration:
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, setting clear timelines and expectations to meet project deadlines effectively.
- Collaborate seamlessly with videographers, designers, and cross-functional teams to achieve a cohesive and impactful video output that aligns with Mindvalley's brand and objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams such as Films, Marketing, and Content Development to align video content with organizational objectives.
Technical Competencies:
- Video Editing Expertise: Extensive experience in video editing, mastery of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve), and a strong portfolio of high-quality video content.
- Sound Editing Mastery: Proficiency in audio editing, mixing, and sound design to create immersive audiovisual experiences.
- Multimedia Integration: Ability to seamlessly integrate various multimedia elements such as graphics, animations, text, and special effects into videos.

- Mentorship: Proven ability to mentor and elevate the skills of junior and mid-level video editors.
- Creative Vision: A keen eye for visual storytelling, with a deep understanding of color grading, composition, and design principles.

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field.
- 5 years of professional experience in video editing with a strong portfolio of successful video projects.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Demonstrated experience in advanced video and audio editing, color grading, and sound design.
- Proven track record of providing mentorship and leadership to junior and mid-level video editors.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing technologies and industry trends.
- Creative mindset with a focus on storytelling and visual aesthetics.
