Nethermind is seeking an Ecosystem Builder/Business Development driven to promote and grow the Starknet ecosystem. This position is ideal for a dynamic individual skilled in community engagement, business development, communication, building relationships and organising impactful events. The role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of blockchain technology, contributing to the growth and success of the Starknet ecosystem. If you are a community-focused individual with a passion for blockchain, ability to build relationships and trust and a knack for understanding what the community need, we welcome you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage with and expand the Starknet communities in London and Europe
  • Identify projects in the Starknet ecosystem for Nethermind to support across engineering, research and security
  • Foster a welcoming environment for new members while encouraging active participation among existing ones
  • Support, educate and inform the community about Starknet’s benefits, roadmap, use cases, and technological advancements
  • Participate in and organize events, workshops, hackathons, and meetups in London and Europe
  • Serve as a Nethermind ambassador, effectively communicating our vision and the potential of Starknet to a diverse audience
  • Serve as a liaison between the community and Nethermind's engineering, research and security teams
  • Collect and relay community feedback and insights to help guide the development of user-centric tools and resources.
  • Initiate and manage collaborative projects, including hackathons and educational programs, to grow the community, and stimulate innovation and practical problem-solving within the Starknet the ecosystem

Must have:

  • Strong foundation in blockchain technology with a focus on Starknet. Understanding of core concepts, technological trends, and the ability to keep abreast of the latest developments and innovation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and foster meaningful discussions within the community
  • Proven ability in building and nurturing relationships within the tech community. Experience in leveraging social media and other platforms for community engagement and growth.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute events that engage and educate the community
  • Confident public speaking and presentation skills are essential
  • Aptitude for conducting thorough research and analysis on new blockchain trends and technologies. Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies for community growth and engagement
  • Must be based in London and willing to travel in Europe for community events and engagements

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience in a community management or developer relations or business development capacity within the tech or blockchain sector
  • Involvement in blockchain projects or communities, with a portfolio of contributions or engagements that showcases your passion and expertise in the field
