Are you ready to pioneer a new realm in 3D mapping and unlock the full potential of Augmented Reality (AR)? We're looking for an enterprising Product Marketing Manager to drive the strategy and launch of innovative mapping technologies, starting with our groundbreaking 3D scanning app, Scaniverse.

As part of the tight-knit Platform Marketing team, you'll play a meaningful role in bridging the developer, consumer, and professional audiences we work with. You'll engage both professional and consumer audiences, driving the development and adoption of Scaniverse and its community. In this role, you’ll merge creativity with analytical prowess to craft marketing strategies that advance our location-based AR offering and play a key role in evolving spatial computing, AR scanning, and mapping and making a significant impact on the field.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead with vision: Take charge in establishing our 3D mapping tools as the benchmark for the industry. Create compelling messages and a strategic channel approach that drives understanding and interest in our projects.
  • Set strategy and see it through:Collaborate with user research and cross-functional teams to gain vital insights about our audiences. You'll then use these insights iteratively to refine our product positioning and go-to-market strategy. Ensure these strategies are aligned with our vision and are adaptable to user needs and market trends.
  • Content creation: Generate impactful marketing materials that support campaign objectives and amplify our message. This includes translating marketing goals into high-impact collateral such as landing pages, pre-and post-event emails, social media promotions, and content that enables our overall campaigns.
  • Engagement planning: Strategically identify and produce in-person events and programs that effectively motivate our audiences. Strive to drive retention and meet overall business goals by creating engaging and relevant experiences.
  • Performance analysis: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of your strategies to drive continuous improvement, ensuring that our approach delivers on key business metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • 4+ years in marketing, with a preference for experience in tech or XR fields.
  • Skill in creating effective marketing content across multiple channels to build a new category.
  • Proven track record of leading mobile or consumer-focused products.
  • Familiarity with Niantic’s vision and mission.
  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally.
  • Familiarity with CRMs like Hubspot a plus
  • History of working with geospatial or crowd-sourced mapping communities a plus
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others.
  • Required in-office 2 days on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $130,500 - $145,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
