Who You Are: Reporting to Director - Quality, the QA Program Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and implementing:

  • The Canadian site License program internally and with key contract manufacturing partners,
  • Nutrabolt Licensing agreement obligations, product Certifications (NSF, LGC, Other)
  • Overseeing and meeting obligations to the Amazon requirements, interfacing with Amazon servicing requirements including routine testing and reporting and complaint responses monitoring
  • Tracking Quality department costs
  • Supporting and monitoring the LGC product certification when needed
  • Leading efforts to prepare KPI slides for business meetings and Quarterly Business reviews.

What You're Good At:

  • Key contact, overseeing and maintaining the Nutrabolt Canadian site License program internally by meeting all requirements and oversee contract manufacturing partners compliance
  • Supporting and monitoring the NSF product certification process including the rollout of the program with new partners and closely monitoring execution on the contract manufacturing side to ensure samples are pulled as appropriate and delivered to the NSF lab to meet Company deadlines and retail requirements
  • Owning the execution of obligations set forth in Licensing agreements
  • Interfacing with Amazon servicing requests that include routine testing and reporting and complaint responses
  • Monitoring Quality department costs
  • Providing monthly KPI summary reports to Quality management
  • Preparing information for Monthly Quality to Quality and other meetings as needed
  • Leading efforts to prepare slides for business meetings and Quarterly Business reviews
  • Monitoring and trending outside laboratory results & expenses and other department expenses as needed
  • Supporting Raw Material specifications creation and maintenance
  • Supporting Sales team in new customer onboarding in providing and completing customer assessment forms when needed
  • Participating in projects as assigned, acting as contact with other departments and communicating regularly with direct management regarding status and timelines
  • Providing customer service and training to all employees needing assistance with QMS
  • Interacting effectively with co-workers, management, and vendors to resolve problems and build strong positive working relationships
  • Performing all responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and appropriate industry and regulatory standards, guidelines, rules, and regulations
  • Preparing, revising, and championing SOPs, working desk instructions, and other relevant documents
  • Ensuring ongoing and timely support of project-related activities and tasks
  • Compiling notes for Key meetings for team alignment
  • In this role your goals and KPIs will be focused around:
    • Compliance with Agency and Certification bodies

What You Contribute: 

  • Has a B.S. degree or 2-year degree with 7-10 years’ experience.
  • Has 2-5 years industry experience in cGMP environment
  • cGMP Certification/HACCP preferred
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Has superior attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, QMS and ERP systems
  • Can collaborate effectively with people and communicate information to obtain positive results.
  • Can take directions and complete assigned tasks on time.
  • Is independent, self-directed, and able to manage time efficiently and adjust to shifting priorities quickly in an agile environment.
  • Experience or knowledge of different analytical testing methods.
  • High degree of organization for multiple customer requirements and sites.
  • Can work well with a diverse group of people and be a strong and dependable collaborator.
  • Must be able to work well under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with GFSI NSF, and LGC preferred.
  • Experience working in manufacture of powders, pills, and carbonated beverages preferred.
  • Must be able and willing to perform domestic travel up to 10% of the time to support the business with on-site partner meetings (QBR, Pilot, Teambuilding).
