We are the only insurer in Asia which is willing to offer state-of-the-art insurance product offering, including but not limited to Digital Asset Crime/ Specie Insurance, Directors’ and Officers’ Liability (D&O) Insurance and Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance for the growing Crypto and associated industries. This opportunity will allow you to join the Underwriting & Product Team of the InsurTech company covering risk assessment, product development and/or underwriting.
Responsibilities
- Be the key member of the Team to profitably drive the business for D&O, PI, BBB and others
- Conduct financial risk analysis and due diligence of the key persons and/or insured entities
- Identify, assess and mitigate the regulatory, operational, management, professional and/or financial risk
- Compile risk assessment report and propose proper insurance terms & conditions
- Work with the cross-functional Team to develop and improve the pricing and underwriting model
- Communicate the identified risks with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary buy-in
- Follow up on implementing the risk mitigation measures
- Keep abreast of the market development and assist the management to develop new products to achieve the Product-Market Fit
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in law, business, finance, economics, actuarial science or information management
- At least 2 years’ underwriting/ broking experience in D&O, PI, Credit & Surety or Cyber Insurance
- Knowledge of Asia regulatory requirement is a plus
- Knowledge of cybersecurity or crypto industry is a plus
- Independent and self-driven team player with good communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Aspire to expand his/her professional horizon to different industry domain, including but not limited to Crypto and Fund Management industries
