Assistant Compliance Manager

Want to join us and make a change? We are looking for an Assistant Compliance Manager with insurance compliance experience to join the team. This role will serve the virtual insurance business by business partnering with first line, as well as performing AML control and internal compliance control.

What you will be doing: 

•        Business partnering with first line to offer regulatory compliance advice.
•        Client onboarding for B2B business and maintain AML control.
•        Review regulatory complaint cases.
•        Maintain and regularly update internal compliance policies, including but not limited to, data privacy, regulated activities, conflict of interest, etc.
•        Deliver regular compliance trainings.
•        Maintain trademark record and support application of new trademarks.
•        Support maintenance of company secretary record and board matters.

What we are looking for: 

•        Bachelor's degree in Law, Business or Financial Services
•        A minimum of 3 years of solid working experience in the financial services industry focused on compliance, risk management, legal and/or internal controls
•        Professional qualification in Insurance, Compliance, Internal Audit or related disciplines is preferred
•        In-depth understanding of insurance business is preferred
•        Good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated and flexible mind-set
•        Able to work independently, be accountable and deliver results in a timely manner
•        Detailed-oriented with good problem solving skills
•        Strong commercial awareness
•        Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
