Position overview:

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join our fast-paced and rapidly growing Investor Relations team as a Senior Associate in Montreal.  The Senior Associate will assist with fundraising and investor relations initiatives for various strategies on the platform. 

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team and assist in managing the fundraising process 
  • Produce due diligence materials, including presentations, DDQs, RFPs, and other related fund documents 
  • Coordinate and participate in existing and prospective investor meetings alongside investment professionals, including Investment and Operational Due Diligence sessions
  • Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and investors to complete fund closings 
  • Be the primary point of contact for existing investor inquiries 
  • Help coordinate multiple LP events, including Limited Partner Advisory Committees and Annual General meetings

 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following roles: investor relations, client services, financial services, consulting, or marketing.  Experience working with private funds, knowledge of venture capital and private equity preferred 
  • Excellent written communication skills, experience authoring quarterly letters, newsletters, and LP communications preferred 
  • Strong financial and business intuition, including a firm grasp of financial metrics, with the ability to summarize complex financial and operational information and present it in a simplified manner.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of multitasking with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, collaborative, and strategic with strong technical and interpersonal skills combined with the desire to work closely with various teams across the company
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
