We’re seeking a Computational Modeling Intern to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.

As a member of our Materials Science Development team, you’ll use your interest in molecular dynamics simulation (particularly simulation involving biological bilayer membranes and lipid organizations) to gain high proficiency with Schrödinger simulation software and experience with the software development process. The internship will last at least three months.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in determining appropriate build and simulation protocols
  • Analyze MD simulations and calculate membrane properties 
  • Provide insightful feedback on the performance of simulation protocols
  • Contribute to development and enhancements of Python scripts

What you should have:

  • At least two years of graduate-level education and related research experience
  • Hands-on experience with molecular dynamics simulations
  • Familiarity with complex membrane bilayers properties
  • Bash and Python programming proficiency

Estimated base salary: $7,500/mo. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs.
