We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join our Finance team! 

So, what will you be doing all day?

  • Process billing inquiries and daily invoices promptly, ensuring all transactions adhere to financial policies and approval standards
  • Primary point of contact for customer billing inquiries and activities for customers provisioning permissions, sales, and support
  • Manage internal requests for address changes, billing account modifications, rate adjustments, account transactions and activations, recurring billing additions, etc.
  • Support the collection activities through special billing requirements and billing reconciliation issues as well as supplying customer documentation 
  • Contribute to the team’s mission to improve data flows, optimize our processes, and ensure account output is accurate

This is the perfect job for someone who has:

  • Preferred degree in finance, economics, or business management, with or without prior billing experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows Office Suite, G-drive, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong technical understanding, excellent analytical abilities, and attention to detail, coupled with superb organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or with the corporate office in a hybrid model, demonstrating a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Quick learner, able to adapt to changing environments, meet strict deadlines and produce professional documents including spreadsheets and emails.
  • Experience with Salesforce or 3rd party billing systems is a plus; must have excellent written and spoken English and foster positive relationships with both internal and external customers.

The base salary range for this position in New York City is $56,480 to $94,710 + benefits including: medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, potential equity, employee stock purchase plan and paid sick and parental leave.

Individual compensation is based upon a number of factors, including qualifications and relevant experience.

The base salary range above is for the New York City metro area, and could vary for candidates in other locations.
