About the job
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Team. Being a part of José Saraiva’s team offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of one of the most successful insurtech-startups in Germany, selling our services across Europe and Japan.
You'll have flexibility to manage your time and tasks, and a fantastic senior team of your peers to work with. Feel free to explore our GitHub organization and check out our open source repositories.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage and continuously improve our infrastructure and application stack in a multi cloud environment
- Partner with the development team to manage the entire stack from development to delivery
- Be an active voice and take key part in the decision making process and development of mission critical components
Bring to the team
- Linux is your home and bash your backyard
- Proficiency in provisioning and configuration management tools
- Strong familiarity with AWS and/or GCP and experience managing highly available cloud backed systems
- Observability, monitoring, tracing and alerting are not esoteric terms for you
- You know what IaC is and embrace it wholeheartedly
- You are self organized, independent and enjoy being an active voice in shaping the company’s development ecosystem
- You are proficient in at least one of the following languages: golang (best), python, php, rust, clojure
- Bonus points for experience in service orchestration, microservice architectures, CI/CD systems, and HashiCorp tools
