Video Developer

Smartly is looking for an imaginative Video Developer who can handle the everyday tasks of editing video and creating graphics and animation within our customers’ agreed guidelines. You have advanced skills in video editing, motion design, layout, typography, color and audio mixing. Your role will entail all aspects of the post production process including, editing raw video, adding music and audio design, adding motion graphic elements, exporting in a range of sizes and formats. You will work within customer brand guidelines to ensure content is on brand and in the right tone of voice.In addition, we are reinventing the way creative production is done by leveraging data and automation so as part of your responsibilities you will become well-versed in using the creative tools within the Smartly product suite.

As a Video Developer at Smartly, you will …

• Join Smartly’s Creative Studio team that creates and runs social media advertising on behalf of top global advertisers.
• Work with the Creative Studio’s Creative Director, Associate Creative Directors and Art Directors to design content for social media advertising campaigns.
• Use creativity, proactivity and a problem solving mindset to look for ways to create as many unique pieces of content from raw footage as possible.
• Knowledge of social media advertising, particularly Facebook and Instagram, including all ad formats and placements
• Ensure we adhere to creative best practices on social media.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and organization when it comes to file exports, versions, naming conventions and delivery according to our specified process.
• Learn the Smartly platform’s creative features (like templating) and leverage them in daily creative work.
• Provide product feedback on the usability of the creative functionality in the Smartly platform.

We're definitely looking for you, if you ...

• Have bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Fine Arts, Advertising, Information Technology or equivalent
• Are excellent in video composition, editing, and motion graphics
• Have In-depth knowledge of industry best practices for video creatives
• Can problem solve and collaborate with other video developers, as well as designers, art directors, project managers, and clients
• Have extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and XD)
• Are knowledgeable of plugins and expressions in After Effects. codecs, image types, resolutions, and frame rates
• Meticulous in organization of assets and projects and can follow client’s brand guidelines
• Have ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Are a team player and must come with a positive working attitude
• Are amenable to work on shifting schedule.
