The Coursera Enterprise team serves global institutions around the world, allowing businesses, academic institutions, and governments to enable their employees, students, and citizens to gain critical skills aligned to the job market of today and tomorrow. Institutions play a major role in tackling the global reskilling challenge by providing awareness, incentives, and financial support for lifelong learning. The Enterprise team is made up of several functional roles including Global Sales, Customer Success, Channel, Implementation Management, Skills Transformation, and Revenue Strategy & Operations. 

In a world where the skills landscape is constantly evolving, Coursera for Business provides the enterprise-grade solutions enterprises need to thrive now and in the future. In this role, you will lead the strategy to grow this segment to a billion dollar trajectory. As a senior individual contributor, you will be the resident expert leading a cross functional team of  Product, Content, and Technology team to become the default solution for developing talent worldwide. In addition, you will partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to drive execution and reach our revenue goals. As the expert in residence, you will advise global enterprise decision makers on how they can transform their organizations with high-impact skill development by using Coursera’s solution. You will also help to influence Coursera’s go-to-market strategy for Coursera for Business, develop thought leadership, and support marketing activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Set the strategy and vision for growth for Coursera for Business.
  • Partner with a cross functional team of  Product, Content, and Technology teams to become the default solution for complementary industry content backed by global credit recommendation and for-credit content for public and private universities worldwide. 
  • Be a global expert and provide thought leadership on online education.
  • Showcase Coursera’s solution to enterprise decision makers across AMER, EMEA and APAC. Own Coursera’s C4B go-to-market strategy, develop thought leadership materials and support Coursera’s marketing activities (e.g. conferences, webinars etc.).
  • Own and drive Coursera for Business revenue by partnering with customer-facing teams to sell, expand and renew deals.
  • Be the resident “C4B Executive-Sponsor” Sales and Customer Success team members can call on to elevate ongoing discussions with customers and prospects.
  • 50% travel globally

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience at Enterprise SaaS companies.
  • Proven sales and management experience at Enterprise SaaS companies.
  • Experience engaging with senior executives at Enterprise organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A deep understanding of Enterprise business models.
  • Experience selling to HR and/or Technical/Engineering lines of business.
  • Ability to build and maintain executive relationships.
  • Strong cross functional team management, strategic thinking, problem solving, written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.Deep interest in online education and an abiding belief in its ability to transform lives.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and comfort working in ambiguous, quickly-changing environments.
  • Experience in online education.

Compensation:

Coursera offers competitive pay and equitable compensation practices. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The targeted hiring base salary range for this role is between $150,000 and $300,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, and geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
