What We’re Looking For

We're seeking a proactive leader with a passion for driving results and improving processes to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Accounting, this role will oversee our Global Payroll function.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Be a subject matter expert for global payroll-related items including earnings codes, deductions, withholdings, and all relevant federal/state and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Compile monthly payroll data in partnership with third-party providers, ensure timely payment of payroll taxes in all regions, and provide support to employees with payroll-related inquiries. 
  • Lead process improvements, guide the implementation of regional solutions, and integrations with partners.
  • Develop scalable processes, maintain standard operating procedures, and own cross-training documents for payroll processes. 
  • Manage results and foster an environment of ownership for the team.
  • Liaison with internal partners including legal, HR, Benefits, and Finance.
  • Execute off-cycle payroll, perform manual check functions, support external audits, monthly closings, account reconciliations, and other adhoc functions as necessary. 
  • Ensure the execution of payroll-related SOX controls are done timely, effectively, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Benchmark with industry peers on best practices related to payroll  systems, policies, and processes.
  • Responsible for accurate monthly/quarterly/annual filing requirements (W-2s and other local reporting and filing requirements as needed). 

We’d Love to Hear From People With

  • 8-10 years of experience within payroll
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA and or payroll certification preferred.
  • Experience managing outsourced global payroll processing teams.
  • Experience supporting EMEA and APAC payroll.
  • Strong understanding of US and Canadian payroll taxation laws and regulations.
  • Experience with Workday and ADP required; experience with NetSuite and Cloudpay a plus. 
  • Good understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with leaders and employees at all levels in the organization. 

The base pay provided for this position ranges from $95,200/ year - $128,800 / year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.

Bonuses and commissions may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
