Position Overview:
You will perform support, assist in the ongoing administration, maintenance and documentation, software support, configuration, integration, customization and management of Jama Connect tools and associated plug-ins.
What you’ll do:
- Configure, implement, and support Jama and TaskTop applications; and support Jira, Jenkins and GitLab/GitHub related plug-ins.
- Design, develop & implement custom Jama, and JIRA workflows
- Develop custom Jama & JIRA reports and dashboards
- Develop & deliver training and documentation for Developers, QA and Product Management
- Design, develop & implement TaskTop, Jira, Jenkins and GitHub integrations
Essential Job Functions:
- Design, develop & implement custom Jama structures to support engineering, and manage add-ins and custom scripts for Jira, Jenkins and GitHub integration with Jama
- Develop custom Jama & Jira reports and dashboards
- Design, develop & implement TaskTop integrations
- Develop & deliver training for Developers, QA and Product Management
What you'll need to succeed:
- Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving user’s issues
- Working experience with configuring and deploying tool and tool updates
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Experience installing and working with add-ons
- Experience configuring Jama, Jira, and TaskTop, including workflows, dashboards, screens, projects and issue types
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
- Experience in license management and transition activities
Additional Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate full system performance, understanding the contributions of relevant sub-systems, providing feedback to development teams.
- Leverage results from automated software testing pipeline to increase the efficiency of the system integration release process.
- Track and report system performance KPIs on a regular basis.
- Support tracking and reporting testing Key Performance Measures (KPIs) on regular basis.
- Exhaustively document best practices.
- Ensure security, performance, manageability, quality, and consistency of the product requirement specification across the systems and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
- Support development of system requirement specification including description of the dynamic driving task, functional flow block diagrams, requirement derivation and allocation to components based on the ASIL designation.
- Maintain traceability between different levels of requirements as well as mapping to verification tests throughout the product life cycle including planned iteration and requirement modifications under consideration of system design and requirements engineering best practices.
- Collaborate closely with functional safety engineering teams to ensure the design process is aligned with safety requirement definitions with respect to safety goals, industry best practices as defined in ISO 26262 (FuSa), ISO 21448 (SOTIF), and other emerging standards.
- Collaborate closely with architecture engineering teams to ensure the design process is aligned with the system/hardware and software architecture.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Two-four years relevant experience with Jama Connect
