The opportunity 

We are seeking a dynamic and creative B2B Events & PR Manager to join our team and play a key role in the planning, execution, and management of our diverse events portfolio. This includes supporting upcoming fairs, sponsorships, and webinars, as well as helping to build our signature events like HR roundtables and festivals. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organized individual with a passion for creating memorable experiences and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Your responsibilities 

  • Assist in the operative realization of events, webinars, and fairs, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard.
  • Coordinate with service providers to ensure all aspects of events are managed efficiently.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative event concepts and ideas for merging traditional and new event formats.
  • Facilitate the coordination of teams and provide support on-site at events to ensure smooth execution.
  • Oversee the event budget, ensuring expenses are kept within limits and reporting on financial outcomes.
  • Engage with attendees and manage social media presence on-site to enhance event visibility and interaction.
  • Draft and send pre-event and post-event emails, including invitations and follow-ups, to maintain engagement with participants.
  • Support with Public Relations (PR) functions to enhance event coverage and brand visibility.
  • Work with the external PR Agency to maximize the investment and increase our brand presence in B2B and HR media
  • Collaborate in Demand Generation activities with the rest of the team
  • Willingness to travel as required for event preparation and execution.

What you need to succeed 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning or management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and interact with a diverse range of people.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Fluency in German and English is required.
