Customer Solution Architect - CPaaS resellers

The Customer Solutions Architect for CPaaS Reseller is responsible for assisting in the sales process from pitch to closing for opportunities specific to Communications Service Providers (CSPs) and Telecom Operators channels.

What you will do

  • Support CSP partners acquisition (solution sales, demonstrations, technical pitch)
  • Support the CSP in defining the initial offer, relevant use-cases, packaging, and pricing. This may include demo/prototyping and solution engineering. 
  • Attend end-customer sales calls and assist with sales efforts
  • Conduct technical interviews with CSPs to clearly define requirements
  • Provide technical expertise to ensure that CSPs needs are met
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the industry and competitors in order to act as a valuable resource to the CSP and sales team
  • Conduct product and platform demonstrations both in-person and using webinar tools
  • Deliver product and technical presentations both onsite and remote
  • Build & Deliver comprehensive and customized product demonstrations focused on functional capabilities in business terms easily understood by the CSP
  • Defining and monitoring the process for Sales, CST (presales)  demo, prototyping, and test support. Accelerate services for bespoke (Solutions Engineering) / pilots. Sandbox environment ready. 
  • Assist CSP building effort (CSE/PS). Low level specification, development, integration, testing. This includes helping CSP developer/technical staff with obtaining developer accounts on the Vonage API platform with testing credits.
  • Assist the CSPs sales team in the coordination of Sales Enablement training modules on relevant API products
  • Assist the CSPs technical team - Sales Engineers, System Integrators, Solutions Engineers in the coordination of technical training modules and certification for relevant API products

What is required of you

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience and 3 years minimum as a Sales Engineer
  • Master's degree in Telecommunications/Networks from five-year college or university
  • Telecommunications Voice and SMS experience
  • Data Networking, SIP, and UCaaS industry certifications
  • Strong experience with networking protocols, standards, and hardware
  • Technical knowledge of UCaaS/PBX and advanced contact center products
  • Previous experience working with CPaaS APIs, low-code conversation design platforms, AI platforms such as Google Dialogflow, Amazon Lex
  • Experience in video conferencing is a major plus
  • Working knowledge of node.js, JSon, React, XML, Java, PHP among others, and real-life understanding of development methodologies and processes. 
  • Frameworks such as Go-lang a plus
  • SQL and NoSQL Database experience a plus
