Zenjob is on the mission to become the digital staffing platform delivering companies best staffing experience with the highest flexibility and reliability, and workers the best choice and fair pay for side jobs. Our service is available in over 39 cities in Germany. Our growth financing round of $50 million (€45 million) from February 2022 is helping us to scale our platform and add new data-based automation features for our rapidly growing customer base.
What you'll be doing:
As a Principal Engineer at Zenjob, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing our engineering practices, focusing on accelerating build times, innovating our testing strategies, and elevating our development and test environments. Your toolbox will include the latest AI-based developer tools like ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot, setting new standards for efficiency and creativity.
Your influence will extend to the future architecture of the Zenjob product, laying down the foundation for scalable and robust solutions. By spending time on hands-on coding, you'll build empathy and insight into the day-to-day challenges faced by our team, fostering an environment of understanding and mutual respect.
What you'll bring:
- A passion for motivating and exciting other engineers, acting as a beacon of inspiration within the team.
- The ability to demystify complex topics, ensuring clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A bias towards industry-standard tech choices, guiding the team towards reliable and time-tested solutions.
- Confidence in moving between tech stacks, centered around AWS and Java, but also contributing to Frontend and Mobile, leveraging these tools to craft outstanding products and services.
